A really good read! I'm almost finished and am surprised it's so good. Dean Koontz can be a hit or a miss. I read The Darkest Evening of the Year a while back and though it's plot wasn't easy to disassemble, it was also very hard to get into the characters. I was sort of disappointed in it.
I truly think the Husband will make a great movie if they don't change it too much.

Thanks for the good review, I've been on the fence about reading this book, cause some of his stuff lately has been pretty lame... now I'll have to check this one out.
You can get her back for 2 million cash, but it'll cost you 3 million if you make us keep her.
The little subtitle reminded me of Daynny Devito in Ruthless People.
