Thursday night William and I were working on his math homework. I was trying my best to explain how to do one of the hardest problems and William kept playing with his pencil or staring off into space. Exasperated I said, "William, you've got to pay attention."
Still no results. Finally I threw my hands up in dispair and said, "I wish I could find a huge box to put you and your homework in, so you wouldn't have anything to distract you from it."
He sighed heavily and said, "I would say to the walls, 'Help me.'"
I bit my lip to keep from laughing and thought, "help me too."
