Feeling like...

me again. Well, almost.

I haven't been this sick in a long time. I guess a combination of stress, working too many hours and allergies helped push me over the sick edge.

My brother's been calling me wheezy. Today is the first day I have been able to breathe without sounding like the toy penguin in Toy Story one. So he'll have to come up with another nickname.

Father's Day was nice. We went to Ruby Tuesday and ate with Dad. I sat with Ben and William. We colored the racing booklet the hostess gave them and I thought Ben that yellow and blue make green. So everything ended up being green on his page. Before we left, William asked "Do I go home with you or do I have to go with her?" He inclined his head towards his mother. I said.. "not with me." He replied, "Oh Maaaannnn!" Lisa didn't get offended at all. I wonder if she realizes how much that kid loves being at my house.

In fact, Monday night he stayed with me. I barely made it through work and was barely able to get home. When I saw him sitting in the den, I wanted to call Lisa and tell her to come get him. But I couldn't. He was so happy to see me. He made me sit down and proceeded to tell me about some movie involving a monkey. Later we watched America's Funniest Videos and there was a rather large woman giving a great impression of a barking dog. I looked at William to see what sort of reaction she was getting from him. He sat frowning and then turned to me and said, "I think she swallowed a dog."

Yes... I lost it ... laughing until I started coughing and then sort of doing a strange mixture of both. I swear that kid brings joy to my life.

But today I feel better. Been reading "Hannibal Rising." I'm sure I'll write more on it once the books over.

Also trying to break my Suduko addiction. Even when I was too sick to get out of bed, I still managed to do some of the puzzles in my big book of 400. Course I screwed a few up but will work on sorting them out later.

The CPU fan in the PC at home went out Thursday. I admitted it to the PC hospital yesterday. The PC is 5 years old. Seems like we just got it. I hope they can fix it without too much trouble. My brother is bugging me about it already.
